The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery is a local service organization dedicated to meeting the needs of youth in the River Region. Our Kiwanis Club was charted October 31, 1919 in Montgomery, Alabama. The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery currently holds the ranking of the second largest Kiwanis Club in the world, out of 8,000 clubs within Kiwanis International, its parent organization. In 2009, we celebrated our 90th birthday!

In 1954, The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery began its annual fundraiser by founding the
Alabama National Fair. Over the last 57 years, the Kiwanis Club, through its Kiwanis Club of Montgomery Foundation, has given over $6 million to local charitable organizations. The 2012 Alabama National Fair is October 5-14th.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery is by invitation only. We have over 310 members who are actively involved in the River Region, so chances are you know someone within the club that will gladly serve as a host for your visit.
